The Encyclopedia represents medicinal plants used in traditional Tibetan medician using 360 images and describes the concepts of «seven essential limbs of standardizing medicinal plants» and of potency and quality of the five cosmo-physical elements that traditional practitioners adhere to. Originally written in Tibetan by Tsering Norbu, both volumes have been translated into English with contents arranged alphabetically. This is Volume 1. Volume 2 is available separately.
