Rarity: ཅིན་ཅིན་བོད་ལ་ཕྱིན་པ། - Tintin in Tibet – Tibetan Edition (1991)
A true rarity for collectors and Tibet enthusiasts: Hergé’s most famous adventure, *Tintin in Tibet*, in Tibetan, published by the Belgian publisher Casterman. ཅིན་ཅིན་བོད་ལ་ཕྱིན་པ། is far more than just a translation: it is a lovingly crafted piece of living Tibetan culture and a coveted collector’s item that is rarely found on the secondhand market. We were able to secure a copy of this 35-year-old edition in like-new condition.
The 20th volume of *The Adventures of Tintin* is considered Hergé’s most personal and beautiful work—a story about friendship, the Himalayas, and an encounter with the Yeti, imbued with the spirit of Tibetan Buddhism. The album has been translated into over 30 languages and is one of the best-selling books about Tibet of all time. In 2006, the Dalai Lama presented the Hergé Foundation with the “Light of Truth Award” from the International Campaign for Tibet—in recognition of how Hergé brought the landscape and culture of Tibet to a global audience.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
