Our soft, warm Himalayan scarves are hand-woven by a women's cooperative in the valleys of northern India. The wool comes from yaks, sheep and goats that are kept by nomadic and indigenous shepherds on the high plateau of the Himalayas. Every spring, the animals naturally shed their fine undercoat, which is carefully collected by the shepherds and sold at local markets. We select a new scarf collection every season - in simple plain shades as well as colorful patterns. In addition to the Himalayan scarves, we also offer lightweight summer scarves made of fine linen - ideal for warm days.
