The Atelier Tibet team

Atelier Tibet is a family business where many tasks are handled by a small, versatile team. Our shop on Münstergasse is also the atelier where many of our creations come to life. Anyone who wants to work here needs to be a true all-rounder. When we're not with customers, we're designing the next piece of jewellery, making repairs, posing in front of the camera or sending out parcels.

Tenzin (1) and Dolkar (2) founded the shop in the 90s and remain to this day the living connection to Tibetan culture and its history; Tenzin also crafts exclusive jewellery pieces. Saruta (3) advises customers in the shop and creates beautiful jewellery. Yeshe (4), Dolkar's daughter, advises customers in the shop and brings her cosmopolitan experience to the buying process. Paelden (5) is the go-to person in the shop and, as our cultural attaché, takes care of our events. Kelsang (6) advises in sales and makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Kalsang (7) keeps a firm grip on the finances – and always knows who to call when something needs organising. Chueky (8), Tenzin's daughter, manages the business and oversees purchasing. Her husband Tobias (9) is responsible for communication, technology, antiques and the correct hammering of nails.
