The Atelier Tibet team
Atelier Tibet is a family business. It was founded in 1997 by Tenzin and Dolkar, who remain a living link to Tibetan culture and its history to this day. Our shop on Münstergasse in Zurich is also the workshop where our jewellery is made, and many tasks rest in few hands. Everyone who works here is an all-rounder and takes time for every task – whether advising in the shop, a new piece of jewellery, a repair, a carefully packed parcel or the photos for a new collection.
YesheAdvises customers in the shop and, as an artist and musician, carries old Tibetan culture into the present – in purchasing and creations too.
SarutaIn the shop she brings order to chaos. Her talent: beaded jewellery for wrist and neck – and she gives old malas a new life.
PaeldenIs there for our customers in the shop and acts as a bridge between the Swiss and Tibetan art and culture scenes – at events too.
KelsangAccompanies our customers as they shop and organises behind the scenes with an analytical eye – cosmopolitan and Tibetan at the same time.
ChuekyRuns the business and is responsible for the range, purchasing, creation and production – from the first sketch to the shop shelf.
