Cell Phone Straps

Handwoven straps for cell phones—short enough to wrap around your wrist or long enough to drape over your shoulder. Kicking things off is the “Highland Threads” collection, a collaboration between CHARU and the Tsoten weavers’ cooperative. The straps are made using the block weaving technique, one of the oldest Tibetan weaving methods, which was traditionally used for belts, carrying straps, and horse tack.
