Scarves

In addition to the linen summer scarves, we offer soft and warm Himalayan scarves woven by a women's cooperative in the valleys of northern India. The wool comes from yaks, sheep and goats raised by nomadic herders and local shepherds on the Himalayan plateau. Every spring, they shed their soft undercoat for the summer. In a painless process for the animals, the shepherds collect the loose wool and bring it to market. The scarf collection is selected by us on a seasonal basis, in both plain colors and colorful patterns.
