Small, older Tibetan conch shell horn "Dung Kar"
This older, handmade Tibetan conch shell "Dung Kar" is a traditional ritual instrument from the Himalayas. The natural shell has been decorated with silver metal inlays featuring detailed floral patterns and mythical symbols and set with colored stones. This combination of natural material and metalwork gives the piece a powerful aura.
The conch shell measures 16 cm in length, 8 cm in width and weighs approx. 200 g. In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, it is used in ceremonies to invoke a spiritual presence and dispel negative energies. Today it is not only a valuable ritual object, but also an impressive collector's item of Nepalese craftsmanship.
