Amber pendant with fossil mosquito

A drop of Baltic amber in a warm, golden yellow color with natural, flowing inclusions. Enclosed in it is an exceptionally well-preserved fossil mosquito(family Culicidae) from the Eocene epoch (approx. 35-50 million years old). The wings, legs and body structures are clearly recognizable - a fascinating glimpse into prehistoric times.

The amber is set in an elegant silver setting. In addition, fine organic inclusions and microscopic particles are evenly distributed.
