Mala bracelet made from yak horn, lava and silver

This mala bracelet consists of black, porous lava beads with a diameter of 8 mm and a bead cut from yak horn, which is framed by silver elements. The bracelet has a circumference of 20 cm and is opened with two black tassels and adjusted to the individual wrist size. It is handmade in Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Yak horn is traditionally used in Tibetan jewelry as a natural, hard-wearing material and is regarded as a symbol of strength, connection to the earth and protective power.

Lava stones, formed from solidified lava, symbolize transformation, inner strength and grounding.
