Wicks for butter lamps – three sizes

Traditional wicks made of pure, unbleached-looking cotton, hand-twisted and tied together in bundles with a cotton thread. Available in three lengths for butter lamps of various sizes. In Tibetan Buddhism, butter lamps are among the most common offerings on home altars and in monasteries; the wick is placed in clarified butter or oil. Each bundle contains about 40 to 45 wicks.
