Lokta Bow with Green Tara

Natural-colored lokta paper featuring a hand-printed image of Green Tara, who sits in a graceful posture on a lotus throne with her right leg lowered—ready to turn her attention to those seeking help. In Tibetan Buddhism, Green Tara is regarded as the embodiment of active compassion and proactive protection. The paper is handmade from the bark of the lokta shrub and then printed using a traditional woodblock printing technique, making each sheet one-of-a-kind. The sheets are suitable as wall art or as elegant gift wrap.
