Vajra and Ghanta set in gold-plated bronze
This slightly smaller Vajra & Ghanta set from Nepal is a traditional ritual pair that plays a central role in Tibetan Buddhism. Both objects are handcrafted from bronze and partially gold-plated, giving them an expressive, high-contrast appearance.
The ghanta (bell) is 15.5 cm high and has a diameter of 8.3 cm. Its handle is richly decorated and shows a finely crafted, gold-plated face of Prajñāpāramitā, the embodiment of transcendent wisdom. The bell itself is dark patinated, with traditional ornaments and borders, and contains a bronze clapper that produces a clear, bright sound.
The accompanying vajra - the ritual sceptre, dorje in Tibetan - measures 11 cm in length. It is completely gold-plated and has the typical structure with five spokes that converge in a central ball. The vajra symbolizes the indestructible power of compassion and enlightenment, while the ghanta represents wisdom. Together they stand for the union of these two aspects on the spiritual path.
Handcrafted in Nepal, each set has slight, characteristic variations that reflect the traditional origins and skillful craftsmanship of the metal artisans. This set is suitable for use in rituals, for meditation or as an expressive symbol of Buddhist practice.
We offer matching brocade covers in various colors that can be closed with brass buttons.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
