Tanzanite is the blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite and, to this day, comes from a single source—the Merelani Hills in Tanzania, at the foot of Kilimanjaro. The setting hangs freely from a ring and swings gently with movement; a silver ear hook secures the earring.
