Singing bowl with "endless knot" decoration
This singing bowl is decorated exclusively for Atelier Tibet with a motif inspired by the "Endless Knot". It is one of the eight lucky symbols of Tibetan Buddhism and consists of an endless line without beginning or end. It symbolizes eternity, connectedness and the principle of karma. In Tibetan art, it adorns thangkas, ritual objects and temples, often as a sign of protection and wisdom. Even today it is valued as a symbol of harmony, spiritual growth and constancy.
In Buddhist countries from Tibet to Japan, metal instruments have been used for ceremonies, prayers and chants for hundreds of years. The "Singing Bowls" as we know them today have only become widespread since the 1970s.
At Atelier Tibet, we only offer premium quality bowls that are traditionally handcrafted in family-run factories in Nepal. They are made from an alloy of seven metals that are symbolically assignedto the seven celestial bodies visible to the naked eye , which were regarded as "planets" in the Tibetan Buddhist and Vedic tradition:

This composition not only has a positive influence on the character of the sound, but also stands for energetic balance, purification and inner equilibrium in many traditions.
The warm, floating sound is created through precise hammering in several steps - each bowl is unique with its own timbre. When rubbed or struck, a harmonious sound with a long reverberation unfolds, bringing body and mind into harmony.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
