Amber Bracelet with a Silver Bead

A striking bracelet made of disc-shaped amber beads in a warm butterscotch color, interspersed with a wide, cylindrical silver bead featuring a finely chased Tibetan vine relief; the bead was hand-forged in a traditional workshop in Nepal.

Unlike stone, amber weighs almost nothing and quickly warms to body temperature—the bracelet feels light on the wrist despite its large beads. It is strung on an elastic cord, has no clasp, and is slipped on over the hand.
