Mala Bracelet Made of Faceted Labradorite

A vibrant bracelet made of faceted labradorite beads in a muted gray-brown hue, in which individual stones suddenly glow blue or green when held up to the light—the many small facets capture this iridescence anew from every angle. Labradorite owes its name to this very effect: it was first described on the coast of Labrador, and in technical terminology, the play of colors it exhibits is called “Labradorescence.” A silver lobster clasp fastens the bracelet, from which a small labradorite bead hangs as a movable pendant between granulated silver caps.
