Aragonite necklace with gold-plated Om ॐ pendant

Dainty necklace made of pink aragonite beads with a diameter of 4 mm, with a gold-plated disc-shaped pendant made of gold-plated silver, from which the syllable Om ॐ is punched out. The chain is opened with a spring clasp made of gold-plated silver; the circumference is 42 cm. It is handmade at Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Aragonite forms in low-temperature and high-pressure conditions, for example in hot springs, caves or seawater. Its needle- or columnar-shaped crystals, which often occur in stalactites or pearls, are particularly well-known. Aragonite plays an important role in biological processes, as mussels and corals form their skeletons from it. Energetically, aragonite is considered grounding and stabilizing.

In Buddhism, the syllable Om ॐ is an important mantra that often serves as an introduction to prayers and meditations. It symbolizes the unity of body, speech and mind and represents the totality of existence. By reciting Om, practitioners strive for inner harmony and spiritual growth.
