Amber necklace with turquoise and Dzi bead

A colorful necklace of slender, cylindrical amber beads in transparent cognac, interspersed with pairs of faceted turquoise with a fine dark matrix. The piece ends in a barrel-shaped Dzi bead with wavy bands in dark brown and white, with a red tassel hanging below. Dzi beads are among Tibet's most prized pieces of jewelry and are often passed down through generations there. The necklace has no clasp and is slipped over the head.
