Our "Singing Bowl" gift set consists of a traditional Tibetan singing bowl, a striking stick, a ring cushion, in a box made of Lokta paper.
The singing bowl has a diameter of 11.7 cm and a height of 5.3 cm. Four Buddha figures are embossed on the base. Traditionally, the bowl contains seven metals that symbolize the sun and planets. It has a pure, long-lasting sound.
The mallet is made of dark wood and is 15 cm long. It has a leather trim and can also be used as a rubbing stick to set the singing bowl vibrating and make it "sing".
The ring cushion is made of golden brocade silk and has a diameter of 10.5 cm.
The box is made of golden-brown lokta paper and decorated with a golden Buddha decoration that mirrors the embossing on the singing bowl.
The gift set is made by hand in Nepal in the traditional way.
In Buddhist countries from Tibet to Japan, bells have been used for ceremonies, prayers and chants for hundreds of years. The "Singing Bowls", as we know them today, have only become widespread since the 1970s.
