Our scarves are woven by a women's cooperative in the Himalayan valleys. Their regular income has enabled them to earn a living according to their needs, invest in their children's education and gain more confidence in the future. The wool comes from yaks, sheep and goats reared by nomadic herders and local shepherds on the Himalayan plateau. Every spring, they shed their soft undercoat for the summer. In a process that is painless for the animals, the shepherds collect the loose wool and take it to market. This combines the highest quality materials with centuries-old craftsmanship.
Care instructions: Wash cold by hand or on the wool cycle in the washing machine. Use little wool detergent, only spin or knead briefly and lightly. Lay flat on a clothes rack to dry. Do not tumble dry.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
