Lokta Bow with a Dragon

Natural-colored lokta paper featuring a bold, hand-printed dragon winding its way through flames and bands of clouds in a dense pattern of scales—its mane, claws, and whiskers finely detailed, with its mouth and the flaming pearl serving as a playful contrast. In Tibet and throughout Asia, the dragon is regarded as a powerful guardian and a symbol of strength and good fortune. The paper is handmade from the bark of the lokta shrub and then printed using a traditional woodblock printing technique, making each sheet one-of-a-kind. The sheets are ideal as wall art or as elegant gift wrap.
