Lokta gift wrapping paper "Lotus"

Lokta paper sheet with a golden lotus print. The lotus flower is a central symbol in Buddhism and represents purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. Although it grows in muddy water, it remains unstained, symbolizing the overcoming of suffering and ignorance. The lotus flower represents the path to enlightenment, on which one maintains purity and clarity despite worldly challenges.

The paper is made from lokta bark through a labor-intensive process at a traditional lokta workshop and is then printed using a woodblock printing technique. Each piece is unique; small irregularities add to the charm of this ancient natural product.

These sheets of paper, produced exclusively by Atelier Tibet in small batches, are ideal, for example, as wall decorations or as elegant gift wrap. The Lotus double cards are available to match.
