Mini prayer flags Buddha Eye - Lokta paper, Nepal

These prayer flags are made in Nepal from traditionally handmade lokta paper. The motif shows the eye of Buddha.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the eye of Buddha stands for mindfulness, wisdom and all-encompassing compassion. It symbolizes the alert consciousness that sees everything and the spiritual path to knowledge. The imprinted mantras and symbols are regarded as carriers of positive energy and are intended to promote harmony, protection and inner balance.
