Nepalese temple bell with chain

Traditional wind chimes are a common sight at temples throughout Nepal—you can find them on almost every corner. Their sound is said to ward off evil spirits and protect the area. The bells hang on chains, and a metal piece shaped like a bodhi leaf is attached to the clapper. This leaf is caught by the wind and gently sets the bell ringing.

Some of our bells are old, some are new, but all are handcrafted from bronze in Nepal using traditional methods. Each bell is one-of-a-kind—no two are exactly alike, and both the patina and the weight may vary slightly.
