Tibetan wooden casket "Snow lion"

Hand-painted wooden box featuring the snow lion—the celestial being of Tibet, traditionally symbolizing fearlessness, joy, and the power of the mountains. It is framed by Tibetan clouds, the flaming jewel, and the Eternal Knot on the lid, one of the eight symbols of good fortune. The corners are set with chiseled brass fittings, and the clasp is crafted in the shape of a vajra (dorje).

Our boxes are crafted by Tibetan artisans living in exile in Nepal, following traditional methods. Each piece is hand-painted and decorated with colorful traditional symbols such as dragons, tigers, snow lions, or cheppu—the motifs vary, making each box one-of-a-kind. If you receive a motif different from the one you ordered, you can exchange it at our store.

A unique place to store jewelry, valuables, and personal treasures.
