Mala made from red sandalwood
Prayer necklace full of character with 108 polished sandalwood beads in rich red-brown, strung on a matching dark red cord with guru bead. Handmade in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
Sandalwood is one of the oldest incense and ritual materials in Asia. Its warm, earthy scent has accompanied meditation, temple rituals and healing practices in Buddhist and Hindu traditions alike for thousands of years. As a symbol of purity, inner strength and mental clarity, it is considered an ideal material for daily meditation practice - the natural fragrance of the beads deepens concentration and calms the mind.
Each mala is delivered in an individually selected silk brocade bag.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
