Amitayus, the Buddha of infinite life, is a central figure in Mahayana Buddhism and a manifestation of Amitabha. He symbolizes longevity, health and spiritual perfection. Amitayus is often depicted in serene meditation, seated in the lotus position, with a vase in his hands containing the nectar of immortality. This vase represents the overcoming of illness and the fulfillment of the wish for a long, fulfilled life.
Its name means "immeasurable life" and it is often invoked in rituals aimed at healing and spiritual strengthening. In Tibetan Buddhism in particular, Amitayus plays an important role in practices to prolong life. He represents the inexhaustible compassion and wisdom that benefit all sentient beings. Its radiant red color symbolizes the vitality and energy of life.
Amitayus is often depicted with magnificent adornments that emphasize his exalted status and his connection to the highest spiritual levels. Practitioners recite his mantra to promote health, protection and spiritual development: "Om Amarani Jivantaye Soha".
The back of the pendant is artfully decorated with the mantra ༀ་ཨཱཿ་ཧཱུྃ (OM AH HUNG). This mantra is symbolic of the body (OM), speech (AH) and mind (HUM/HUNG) and refers to the transformative blessings of the Buddhas of all times.
Handmade in a traditional workshop in Nepal, the pendant perfectly matches the snake necklaces from Atelier Tibet (available separately).

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
