The Buddha with the Vitarka Mudra shows a gesture that symbolizes teaching and the passing on of knowledge and wisdom. The Vitarka Mudra, also known as the "gesture of discussion and teaching", represents the interaction between teacher and student and stands for the sharing of spiritual teachings.
The right hand is raised at chest height with the palm facing outwards. The thumb and index finger touch, forming a circle, while the other fingers are extended upwards in a relaxed position. The closed circle symbolizes perfection and the cyclical nature of the Buddha's teachings, the Dharma. The left hand rests on the lap in the meditation posture.
The brass statue is made according to ancient tradition in a workshop in Nepal and is approx. 3.5 cm in size. As this is a handcrafted product, the patina and fine details of the piece supplied may differ slightly from those shown.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
