Large double dorje or double vajra made of brass with stand
Large double dorje or double vajra made of brass, with wooden stand. Hand-forged in a traditional Nepalese workshop.
Translated, Dorje means something like "indestructible diamond" or "lord of stones". In Hinduism, it bears the Sanskrit name "Vajra" and is also known there as a "thunderbolt" or "sceptre". It is one of the most commonly used Tibetan ritual objects. It symbolizes a self-contained, all-encompassing system that explains the structure of the universe. The five clasps at each end symbolize the elements fire, earth, water, air and ether (space). The inner clasp symbolizes space and the center. The four outer clasps symbolize the cardinal points. The two clasp heads on their own symbolize the male and female principles, which merge in the center. The Dorje is considered indestructible and is used for meditation and for positively influencing energy flows.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
