Tibetan prayer necklace with 108 selected, polished, fragrant sandalwood beads with four red cords. The mala has a circumference of approx. 95 cm, the diameter of the wooden beads is approx. 10 mm. The prayer chain is made for us in a traditional workshop in Nepal. We deliver the mala in an elegant silk brocade bag, which we select individually to match the color.
Sandalwood malas are very popular in the Himalayan region. They are not only used as prayer aids, but are also worn as powerful protective amulets. In the Buddhist tradition, sandalwood is said to open the heart and promote compassion. Due to its strong energetic properties, it is also said to support concentration and deepening during meditation.
