Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, is the historical Buddha and founder of Buddhism. He lived in the 5th or 6th century BC in what is now Nepal and northern India. After years of asceticism and meditation, he attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodhgaya. His teachings include the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, which show the way to overcoming suffering. Shakyamuni is often depicted in meditation, with the earth-touching gesture (Bhumisparsha Mudra), which symbolizes the moment of his enlightenment. He stands for compassion, wisdom and universal truth.
The brass statue is made according to ancient tradition in a workshop in Nepal and is approx. 3.5 cm in size. As this is a handcrafted product, the patina and fine details of the piece supplied may differ slightly from those shown.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
