Chrysoprase necklace

Short necklace made of lenticular, intensely green shining chrysoprase beads with a diameter of approx. 6 mm, each with a hand-knotted knot in between, with a gold-plated silver spring clasp. Circumference 42 cm. Handmade in the Tibet studio in Zurich.

Chrysoprase is a rare, bright green variety of the mineral chalcedony, whose color is created by traces of nickel. Its name comes from the Greek and means "golden green". The semi-precious stone belongs to the quartz family and has been prized since ancient times. It symbolizes hope, balance and inner peace. In gemstone healing, it is said to open the heart and promote creativity.
