Necklace made from light yellow amber stones

A timeless necklace made of polished amber beads in a light, warm butter- to honey-yellow hue, opaque with a soft sheen and a subtle cloudiness that varies from bead to bead. Two slightly larger, barrel-shaped amber beads form the clasp: They screw into one another and blend discreetly into the strand, so that the necklace is made entirely of a single material. Amber is fossilized tree resin and is one of the oldest materials used in jewelry; in the Himalayas, it is traditionally worn alongside turquoise and coral.
