Kambaba Jasper Necklace with Om ॐ Ganesha Pendant in Silver

Powerful and earthy, this necklace features Kambaba jasper beads in deep forest green and black, whose swirling, eye-like markings give each stone a vibrant pattern. The necklace is hand-knotted in green between the beads. At the center hangs a silver pendant that combines the syllable “Om” with an elephant’s head and is set with a small, faceted cubic zirconia.

The pendant combines two well-known motifs: the syllable “Om” and—as far as can be discerned—a reference to the elephant-headed Ganesha. Both are common symbols in the Hindu-Buddhist tradition; the motif is associated with concentration and the overcoming of obstacles.

The necklace is fastened using the continuous string; the beads are knotted individually.
