Necklace made of lava beads and silver with yak horn pendant

This necklace consists of black, porous lava beads with a diameter of 8 mm and a bead cut from yak horn, which is framed by silver elements. It has a circumference of 52 cm and is opened with a silver spring clasp. The necklace is handmade in Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Yak horn is traditionally used in Tibetan jewelry as a natural, hard-wearing material and is regarded as a symbol of strength, earthiness and protective power.

Lava stones, formed from solidified lava, symbolize transformation, inner strength and grounding.
