Necklace made from chrysocolla beads with a silver lotus pendant

Elegant necklace made from finely marbled chrysocolla beads with a diameter of 4 mm. There is a silver pendant in the shape of a lotus flower. The necklace is closed with a silver hook clasp and has a circumference of 41 cm. Handmade in the Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

The lotus blossom is a central symbol in Buddhism and stands for purity, enlightenment and spiritual awakening. Although it grows in muddy water, it remains untainted and thus symbolizes the overcoming of suffering and ignorance.
