Larimar necklace for children

Child-size necklace with faceted larimar beads and a silver spring ring clasp. The beads have a diameter of approx. 5 mm, the necklace a circumference of approx. 34 cm. The necklace is made at Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Larimar is a rare blue gemstone found exclusively in the Dominican Republic. Its characteristic colour ranges from light blue to greenish blue, recalling the colours of the Caribbean Sea. Geologically, larimar is a variety of the mineral pectolite, whose blue colour is due to traces of copper.
