Malachite necklace with dharmachakra pendant

This necklace of cut malachite beads shines with a striking, rich green luster; the characteristic banding of lighter and darker shades of green makes each bead unique. Hanging from the front loop is a delicate silver pendant in the shape of the Dharmachakra, the Buddhist wheel.

In Buddhism, the Dharmachakra (“Wheel of Dharma”) is the symbol of the teachings proclaimed by the Buddha; the eight spokes are traditionally associated with the “Noble Eightfold Path.”

The chain fastens with a silver spring ring clasp.
