Striking amazonite necklace

Necklace made from large amazonite beads with a diameter of approx. 15 to 20 mm. The necklace is closed with a silver spring clasp, measures 47 cm in circumference and weighs 109 g. Hand-knotted at Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Amazonite is a variety of feldspar and is known for its bright green to turquoise color, reminiscent of tropical waters. It owes its name to the Amazon, although it is not found there. Amazonite symbolizes harmony, balance and inner strength and is often referred to as a stone of hope and courage.

In healing stone healing, amazonite is said to help release emotional blockages and promote communication. It is associated with the heart and throat chakra and is said to help express truths clearly and find inner peace. It is also said to alleviate stress and create a balance between reason and intuition.
