Fine peridot necklace

Short, delicate necklace made of green, faceted peridot beads with a diameter of approx. 3 mm, which sparkle in the light, with a silver spring clasp. The necklace is available in two sizes. Handmade in the Tibet studio in Zurich.

Peridot is a transparent, olive-green variety of the mineral olivine and is one of the few gemstones that occur exclusively in one color. Its characteristic green coloration results from the iron content in the crystal lattice. Peridot forms in magmatic rocks and can occur in both volcanic basalts and meteorites. The stone is said to stimulate the heart chakra and promote emotional balance.
