Tibetan prayer necklace with 108 very finely carved skull beads made of shell, with four brown cords. The mala has a circumference of approx. 80 cm, the diameter of the skull beads is approx. 7 mm. The prayer chain is made for us in a traditional workshop in Nepal. We deliver the mala in an elegant silk brocade bag, which we select individually to match the color.
In Tibet, skull and bone motifs symbolize the transience of life. transience of life(Sanskrit: Anitya). They remind us that life is finite and that attachment to material things should be overcome.
