Finely crafted copper Phurpa ritual dagger with stand

This copper phurpa (kila) - a unique piece - is a ritual object of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism. It is handmade in Nepal and is characterized by its detailed, powerful design. The phurpa is supplied with a precisely fitting copper stand and an additional sturdy wooden stand for alternative presentation.

The phurpa has a classic three-part shape with a dagger-like top, a richly decorated middle section and a wrathful protective face in the upper section. The depiction is deliberately expressive and follows traditional iconographic models. The patina emphasizes the handcrafted and ritual character.

The phurpa symbolizes the severing of ignorance, negative energies and inner obstacles. It stands for spiritual clarity, transformation and protection. In spiritual terms, the "power" of the phurpa is not directed against external enemies, but against inner blockages and disruptive influences.

Traditionally, the phurpa is used in ritual practices, meditations and ceremonies or placed on the altar. In living or practice rooms, it serves as a symbol of protection and as an expression of conscious spiritual alignment. The stands supplied enable both a classic upright presentation and flexible placement.
