This decorative incense burner is traditionally handcrafted in Nepal. It is made of wood, painted with Tibetan cloud motifs and has a removable lid with an elongated opening.

The inner surface is lined with metal. Usually 1-2 cm of sand is filled into the censer. The incense - e.g. powder or incense strings - is burnt directly on the sand and the smoke rises through the opening in the lid to the outside. Incense sticks can be inserted into the sand through the opening in the lid.

Method 1: Measure the inner diameter of a suitable ring

Take a ring that fits well.
Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).

Method 2: Measure the circumference of your finger

Take a thin strip of paper or thread.

Tips:

Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
