This large, traditional silver ring from Nepal showcases the distinctive craftsmanship of the Himalayan region. The wide band is adorned with intricately detailed floral patterns created using filigree work: thin silver wires are twisted and bent by hand and then soldered together to form ornamental shapes. The patterns are set against a dark-patinated recessed background, which makes the delicate filigree lines stand out clearly.

The ring is approximately 13 mm wide and very large (men's size, approximately size 72). It is open at the ends and can be adjusted slightly for size. The edges and frame feature typical Nepalese rope and dot motifs, which provide stability and emphasize the traditional style. The inside is smoothly polished, ensuring it is comfortable to wear.

The ring is crafted in small Nepalese silversmith workshops, where filigree and chasing techniques have been passed down for generations. Each piece is made entirely by hand and is therefore one-of-a-kind.
