Dzi stones are coveted beads from Tibet and the Himalayas that are revered as lucky charms and protective amulets and are often worn on a string or as part of elaborate pieces of jewelry around the neck. Their name means "shine" and symbolizes their spiritual power. They are usually made of agate and are engraved with characteristic patterns such as eyes or lines. The exact origin of antique Dzi stones remains a mystery.

Depending on the pattern, they have different meanings: a 2-eye dzi stands for harmony and balanced relationships, a 3-eye dzi for prosperity, happiness and spiritual growth, and a 9-eye dzi for completion, wisdom and fulfillment. The turtle shell dzi stands for longevity, protection and stability.
Each dzi is unique and differs from the others in shape, pattern and color.
