This extraordinary Tibetan bangle was made exclusively for the Year of the Wood Snake in a traditional silversmith's workshop in Nepal. It is made from solid silver, measures 26 mm in width and combines masterful engraving with powerful symbolism.
The surrounding relief shows a detailed snake on both sides, which winds dynamically across the bangle to the rectangular turquoise stone, which is set in the middle of the front.
In Tibetan symbolism, the snake stands for transformation, vitality and protection - in the year of the wooden snake, it also stands for renewal, wisdom and spiritual strength.
