Rainforest jasper necklace with old coral
Necklace with rainforest jasper beads and an old red coral with a silver spring clasp. The beads are 6 mm in diameter and the necklace measures approx. 41 cm in circumference. It is made in the Atelier Tibet in Zurich.
Rainforest jasper, also known as rhyolite, is a volcanic rock that stands out with its diverse colors and patterns. It typically shows green, brown, yellow and red tones, often reminiscent of the lush vegetation of a rainforest. This variety of colors is created by the inclusion of various minerals such as quartz, feldspar, biotite and hornblende. Although the name "rainforest jasper" contains the word "jasper", it is actually rhyolite, a volcanic rock. The name is derived from the Greek "rheein" (to flow) and "lithos" (stone) and means "flowing stone". Rainforest jasper is valued as a healing stone. It is said to strengthen the immune system and help with infections and flu. It is also said to promote emotional balance and increase self-acceptance.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
