Traditional necklace with ebony, rudraksha, turquoise and coral
With an old, silver-set rudraksha as the central element, flanked by an antique coral and turquoise bead and strung on a chain of 5 mm thick ebony beads, this piece embodies the quintessence of Tibetan jewelry tradition. The colors and choice of materials make it a classic of Himalayan culture. The necklace measures 54 cm in circumference, opens with a silver spring clasp and is handmade in Atelier Tibet in Zurich.
Rudraksha seeds have been sacred beads of spiritual practice in India and Nepal for centuries. Set in silver, they become the centerpiece of the composition here, combining meditation, protection and inner clarity with ancient craftsmanship.
In Tibetan culture, coral is a symbol of life energy and protection from harm. Its warm, red tone brings vitality and strength to the piece of jewelry - only beads from old chains are used, as coral is strictly protected today.
Turquoise is probably the most important gemstone in Tibet, revered as the stone of heaven, balance and a safe path. Its bright blue-green color creates a harmonious contrast and opens the piece up to the spiritual dimension.
Finally, ebony stands for depth and grounding; its dark simplicity carries the colors and shapes of the central elements. As a base, it lends the necklace calm, balance and a clear rhythm.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
