Stunning Mahakala Ring Made of Silver

A striking ring featuring a three-dimensional, embossed head of an angry deity that completely fills the tapered ring band—wide-open eyes, bared teeth, a third eye on the forehead, and a crown of small skulls beneath the flaming mane of hair. The ring shoulders are decorated on both sides with cloud-like tendrils, and the inside bears an engraved Tibetan inscription. The ring is handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.

In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, wrathful deities such as Mahakala are not considered evil, but rather protective forces whose fearsome appearance wards off obstacles.
