Silver pendant "Tangka coin"
Pendant in the design of a traditional Tibetan tangka silver coin, as they were in circulation in ancient Tibet. We have them made exclusively in a workshop in India from non-tarnishing recycled silver.
The obverse depicts an eight-spoked wheel surrounded by Tibetan characters within the petals of an eight-petaled lotus: "The Ganden Palace, victorious in all directions". The reverse depicts a lotus surrounded by the Buddhist eight symbols of good fortune (white parasol, conch, treasure vase, victory banner, Dharma wheel, a pair of golden fish, endless knot and lotus flower) within the petals of an eight-petaled lotus.
Height (incl. eyelet): approx. 33 mm, width: approx. 28 mm. Diameter of the eyelet: 4 mm.
The pendant goes well with the snake necklaces from Atelier Tibet (available separately), for example.
